Serving Patients in Las Vegas

We love serving the people of Las Vegas and helping them achieve their properly aligned smile goals. Whether that means traditional metal braces to treat a complex orthodontic problem or low-profile clear aligners to treat something simpler, we can help. We also help patients who are in the retention phase of their treatment. Check this map if you need directions to our Las Vegas location.

If you aren’t sure which type of braces is best for your situation, we’re happy to help you find out at an initial consultation. We will determine what kind of treatment your smile will need. Traditional braces with metal wires and brackets are often still the best option for complex cases, but many patients are good candidates for treatment with clear ceramic braces or Invisalign.

Directions to Our Practice

If you aren't familiar with our location in Las Vegas, we can help using a notable starting point in town as a reference. We're about a fifteen minute drive away from the Sahara West Library. Just get onto Grand Canyon Dr heading south, then turn left onto Lake North Dr, then right onto Fort Apache Rd. Stay on Fort Apache for five miles. We're located just past the Circuit Fitness on your left. If you see a Starbucks on the right corner, you went too far!

Interesting Fact About Las Vegas

In the northeast part of the city lies Nellis Air Force Base, renowned as the "Home of the Fighter Pilot." Nellis AFB is the central hub for the Thunderbirds, the dazzling aerobatic air demonstration squadron of the US Air Force. It's hard to miss it when they do one of their shows, but if you want more than that, you can check out the fascinating museum honoring the six decades of Thunderbird history as long as you are able to be sponsored onto the base by someone with installation access.

Las Vegas History

Dive into the captivating history of Las Vegas, where our dental practice proudly serves the vibrant community. The city's origins trace back to 1905 when 110 acres of land adjacent to the Union Pacific Railroad tracks were auctioned, laying the foundation for what would evolve into downtown Las Vegas. In 1911, the city officially became an incorporated entity.

A pivotal moment in 1931 marked the legalization of casino gambling in Nevada and a reduction in divorce residency requirements to six weeks. Simultaneously, construction began on the iconic Hoover Dam, providing an economic boost during the Great Depression by attracting workers and their families to the area.

The establishment of Las Vegas Army Airfield in late 1941, later renamed Nellis Air Force Base, has been a cornerstone in the city's history, now home to the renowned United States Air Force Thunderbirds aerobatic team since 1950.

Post-World War II, Las Vegas transformed into a haven of lavishly decorated hotels, renowned gambling casinos, and top-tier entertainment. Noteworthy developments during the 1950s included nuclear weapons testing at the Nevada Test Site, earning the city the moniker "Atomic City." The 1955 opening of the Moulin Rouge Hotel marked a historic moment as the first racially integrated casino-hotel in Las Vegas.

Moving into the 1960s, Las Vegas witnessed the influence of corporations and business magnates like Howard Hughes, who played a pivotal role in shaping the city's skyline with hotel-casino properties. This era also saw the emergence of "gaming" as a legitimate business, as outlined in the influential book "Learning from Las Vegas," which inspired the postmodern architecture movement.

Our practice is proud to be a part of the rich tapestry of Las Vegas, blending modern dental care with a deep appreciation for the city's vibrant history.
